Welcome to the Teams section of the 2027 World Rowing Championships — your dedicated resource for all essential information related to team participation in the upcoming World Rowing Championships (23–29 August 2027) on the legendary Rotsee.

Please check regularly for updates and detailed instructions as we publish more information closer to the event. If you have specific questions or require assistance, our team is here to help.

The venue opens on 19 August 2027. Teams may arrive with their trailers on 18 August to drive in, unload and drive out; land-based training will also be possible that day. Unsupervised trailer parking is available before 18 August by contacting the Organising Committee. No on-site parking is available at the venue.

Training on Rotsee is not permitted before 19 August. Official training at the venue opens from 19 August. Teams looking for training options in Switzerland before then are encouraged to contact the Organising Committee, which is coordinating with local rowing clubs. More informations will follow in Team Bulletin 2.0.

All teams participating at the 2027 World Rowing Championships have the option to reserve accommodation through the official booking platform. Thanks to our partnership with the Lucerne Hotels association we can guarantee best rates. Booking through this platform provides access to discounted accommodation rates, lunch and dinner at the venue, as well as centralised coordination support and airport transfer. Accommodation management is carried out in cooperation with Bucher Travel.

A limited number of rooms are also available at Jugendherberge Luzern (Lucerne Youth Hostel), which offers very affordable accommodation. Meals and airport transfers are not included with these rooms, as they are booked outside the official platform.

Team Bulletin 2.0 is still in preparation and will be published during October. It will include further details about team space and on-site services.

Should you require a visa to enter Switzerland, you will need an official invitation letter from the organizing committee. In order to issue an invitation letter for you or your rowing team, we need the following information from each person. Please send us this information by email well in advance to: info@lucerne2027.com.
