Der Rotsee zählt zu den fairsten Regattastrecken der Welt und wird 2027 zur Bühne der Ruder-Weltmeisterschaften. Wenn die internationale Elite im August 2027 in Luzern antritt, geht es um Medaillen, um WM-Titel und vor allem um die Qualifikation für die Olympischen und Paralympischen Spiele 2028 in Los Angeles. Gleichzeitig erweitert sich das Erlebnis der Weltmeisterschaften mit dem Fan Village auf dem Kurplatz mitten in die Stadt Luzern.
